About Us

The Naugatuck Valley Association provides a means of
fellowship between its member churches, encouragement
in mission and ministry, support for one another in the
challenges and joys of serving God and God's people in
the name of Jesus Christ, and to hold the standing of its
churches and ministers. We are an association of the
Connecticut Conference of the United Church of Christ and
strive to maintain a close relationship to the larger church
and other ecumenical partners.

Our structure includes: meeting twice annually, fall and
spring; being administered by an elected Executive
Committee; a Committee on the Church and Ministry elected
to hold the standing of churches and ministers and guide
candidates through the discernment process; and
maintaining a budget for mission and ministry needs.
